Goal Setting for 2006

This is important! Look forward to 2006 and decide on what you want to happen for the next year.  Do you want more business, a better job, more time doing what you love to do, better health, less stress, give more to charity, spend more time with your family, awaken your spiritual side or make more money?  You have millions of choices.  What do you really want?  You can have what ever you desire; it is up to you.  If you can see what you really want in your mind, write it down, work towards your desire everyday with a game plan.  Work on achieving your goal one small step at a time.  Have a couple of free minutes in the day?  Don't waste it -- work on your goal.   Believe in it and it will happen.  Will it be exactly like what you imagined?   No, but it will be close, probably even better than what you had imagined.   "Live out of your imagination, not your history." -- Stephen Covey

These are profound words and they are very truthful, powerful and achievable.   Your life is unlimited.  You cannot fail.  Take the risk.  Dare to dream and do!  The most important thing is to start now.  Grab the nearest thing to write on and take ten minutes to write down what you want to happen in 2006.  No one is going to grade you, judge you or critique what you wrote other than yourself.  We are usually our own worst enemy when it comes to self doubt.  So remove any self criticism and shelve it!  Once you have written down what you want to do in 2006, put it in a place where you can see it everyday.  Think on it.  Work on it. Spend time on it.  Put forth effort towards it daily.  Look at your goal first thing in the morning and just before you go to bed.  Devote time to dream about your goals.

Imagine now with me, we move forward to this time in 2006; look at what you wrote down -- you will surprise yourself at what you have accomplished.  Be proud of what you have done; pat yourself on the back and be happy for yourself because you did it.  Enjoy and have a wonderful 2006!
